The barrier to entry for web development has officially been broken. Recently, I had the privilege of hosting a high-impact workshop titled: How to Build and Host a Website Using AI-Generated Code.

As a Web Innovator and Trainer, my goal is to show that with the right tools, anyone can move from an initial idea to a live URL in record time.

A Seamless Experience from Start to Finish

The event was expertly anchored and moderated by my Co-Host, Mathias Adama, a Data Analyst with over 5 years of experience. Mathias kicked off the session with an inspiring introduction and brought the event to a successful close, ensuring a professional and high-energy flow throughout.

During the session, I was proud to introduce my “code prodigies,” Great and Ola. Their journey into development at such a young age served as the perfect inspiration for our participants, proving that age is no barrier to technical excellence.

The Live Build: The “People’s Calculator”

To keep things interactive, I let the audience choose our project. They bypassed the portfolio and web app options to settle on a Calculator.

We broke down the mechanics of the build:

  • HTML: The skeleton.
  • CSS: The skin.
  • JavaScript: The brain.

Using ChatGPT, we generated our code, but the real magic happened at the PPH Learners Playground.

I specifically developed the PPH Learners Playground to solve a major pain point for beginners. Often, new learners get discouraged by the stress of setting up local environments, installing code editors, or struggling to understand complex file systems on their computers. This platform allows them to skip the stress and jump straight into coding.

I walked the audience through the logic line by line, demystifying the code so they could truly own the output.

Check out the Live Demo: You can see exactly what we built at https://event.surepath.ng/. A quick heads-up: If the design looks a bit “experimental,” that’s because it was! We intentionally played with and “messed up” the code during the explanation to show the audience exactly how CSS and JS interact in real-time.

Launching Your Vision: The Power of PPH.NAME.NG

The most anticipated part of the day was the transition from a snippet of code to a live website. To guide the participants through this, we used PPH.NAME.NG.

PPH.NAME.NG is a vital resource for our community. It serves as the ultimate gateway, providing the direct links and resources needed to access professional hosting. By following the links on the site, participants were able to:

  • Navigate the cPanel: I taught the class how to master the backend “Control Panel”—the cockpit of any website.
  • File Management: We explored how to upload assets and organize a live directory.
  • Web Security (SSL): A participant named Emmanuel asked an insightful question about SSL certificates. I was able to show the class how to ensure their websites are encrypted, secure, and display the “padlock” icon in browsers.

If you are ready to take your project from your laptop to the world, your first stop should be PPH.NAME.NG. It is the simplest path to finding the right hosting environment.

Wrapping Up

By the time Mathias Adama officially closed the event, the room was buzzing. Participants left feeling happy, good, and empowered. They didn’t just leave with “AI code”; they left with the confidence to navigate cPanel, understand SSL, and host their own creations.

Ready to launch your own website without the technical headache? Visit PPH.NAME.NG now to get started!
